On Thanksgiving Day my son Maurice James was shot and is in critical condition at Brookhaven Hospital in Patchogue New York. I arrived in New York on Sunday night thanks to a long time golfing buddy and friend Damien Scott. His mother lives out of state but has been in NY but needed to leave to go back home on Sunday the day I arrived. We are seeking any help that can be provided for the associated expenses are mounting fast and we have no income while we stay here to tend to him. With him being in his current predicament he has no income or insurance as well. He has had surgery to his abdomen where the bullet struck his colon, spleen and liver. He is being heavily sedated by Dr.'s orders due to the increased pain and his need for healing.

We need everyones help with donations to help with expenses such as medical bills, lodging and transportation to and from the hospital and possibly a reward for any information leading to an arrest of the person or persons responsible for this crime. Any amount will be of help, no amount is too small.
